Ready to make your first activity? Let's get started! First off, have you got your planner or agenda nearby? Or maybe your child's school schedule? Great! Let's begin creating activities using these 5 steps 🤩 You can make changes in the calendar from the Tiimo app on any device after you have logged in to your Tiimo account.
1. Title and Note
Start creating an activity by pressing the + icon on the 'My day' view so the activity card pops up. Next, give the activity a name and maybe put in a note if there is something particular to remember with the activity.
2. Icon, photo and/or color
Now to the fun part, choosing an icon 🤩 Press the grey circle next to the name of the activity and the icon card will now pop up. Choose an icon representing the activity. Note that you can change the default skin tone by clicking on the hand in the lower right hand corner ✋✋🏼✋🏽✋🏾✋🏿
You can also upload own pictures to your Tiimo calendar if you want a specific photo or icon to represent an activity. For example you can upload a picture of your dog, your own cutlery, clothing and so on.
You can also choose to give the icon a background color by clicking on the color box next to the activity icon. You can add you own colors to the color scheme by clicking on the circle with the + in the color picker. If you want, you can also only choose a color to represent the activity.
3. Set duration
4. Now you set the activity to a specific day and choose when the activity should occur with a start and end time. You can also choose if the activity should be repeated.
4. Checklists ✅
You can also add checklists if there are subtasks associated with the activity (for example, work/school projects, or everyday tasks) without having to make every subtask a separate activity. To each checklist point you can add an icon, photo and/or a color.
You can also use checklist to remember items linked to your activity. For example add your shopping list when grocery shopping, or a list of items you need to make sure you have with you before you leave the house.
Checklists are great for activities that have a specific sequence of events. Adding them into the activity makes sure that you don't skip any steps, and will make sure that you complete your activity correctly.⠀
5. Finished
Press on the arrow in the black circle when you're happy with the activity 🎉
You can edit or delete activities in the app under My day. Simply slide any activity to the left to reveal the editing function or tab on the activity card.
Continue creating activities for the day and then, afterwards, we recommend grouping the activities into different routines ⚡️
