We are currently working on optimising and upgrading routines on Android. This is why when you create a routine you will get the pop-up message saying βOnly supported for planned activities. We're redesigning routines to become even better and smarter, so stay tunedβ at the top part of your screen. We know that this message is an inconvenience but it does not obscure anything that you need to use when creating a routine. It will still show the the days of the week π
In the meantime, on Android, you create a routine by doing the following: First you create activities. These should be planned activities, with both start and end times. If you want that routine to repeat (that is, to take place on different days so that you don't keep on scheduling it), then you have to place those activities on repetition using our repetition feature, the icon with the arrow and the clock, opposite the calendar icon. These activities should be on the same day, not different days. Once created, then you are ready to create a routine πͺ The next step is to click the + icon, go to Routines, click Create routine +, then select the activities you want to be in that routine by ticking the box next to them, then click Save routine. This will give you the option to name your routine, afterwards click OK and your routine will be created π
To edit this routine, go to the individual activity you want to edit and then remember to click the type of Update that you prefer.
To delete this routine, simply go to the activities that you have placed in that routine and delete them (by swiping to your left hand side on them to get the delete option), and viola, that routine will be delete!
We know that these routines are not optimal to some of you and we truly understand that it can be frustrating when creating them, but we want to assure you that the improved ones will be coming in the nearby future π
